I Want to Re-Home Your Pet

On October 28, I found a puppy, left or lost, tied up near the Prospect Expressway in South Park Slope. The no-kill shelters were full; my friends were either unreliable or too broke to care for the pup; and the dog didn’t have tags or an identity microchip embedded in its coat (we had it scanned). So I called my roommate, took a Claritin and posted “found” notices on semi-reliable web sites describing the hapless pooch and lamenting my allergies.

I advised “anyone who might be interested” in the 9-month-old black lab/chow mix to email me.

Did you try to find the original owner, maybe he is just lost.

Can you describe the young pups colorings? Could he be an Akita? A Siberian Husky? Long haired German shephard? There have been a few young males missing from your area and I would love to crossmatch them and hopefully get him back home and for your allergies to get better. Thank you, Alma

Subject:   I want to adopt your pet as part of my family

Hello Friend.
I’m very much interested in adopting your pet to my humble home. I’m us citizen. I live at delray beach FL, but presently in ontario canada to accept a job offer with the american christain missionary as a clerk. I’m happily married with a kid. I want to re-home your pet as part of my family. I lost my most adorable pet some couple of days ago

on the way to the Vet clinic, the tragedy was so painful for me to bear as a pet lover, so i need yours in replace to minimise the lost. I assure you a 100% loving forever home for your pet and i want you to consider the pet sold to a pet lover. Pls, briefly tell me these: adoption fees, mode of feeding, present health condition, breed. I have a recommendable pet transporter that will come for the pick-up right from your home “means you don’t need to drive the pet to any where”. So I urge you to contact the pet shipping company at [xxxx] I’ll have to act fast about the payment, so forward your name, address and your phone number for onward payment. I’ll send a check or “MO” which’ll cover the adoption fees + $50 as reward offer for the up bringing of the pet + the shipping fees. I wait to hear back from you at you earliest convenient time.

Daniela dash cares for your pet.

Animals are great to see

Fun to have as pets

Some I know I’d rather have

Than people that I’ve met

They never ask you questions

They rarely disagree

But always seem to know just when

To be there when need be

Some will make a bit of noise

To ask if we’re ok

It’s just their way of letting us know

That things will work some way

It’s like they’re trying to say to us

They know just how we feel

And only try to help us through

Our bothersome ordeal

Dogs will come wag their tail

Lift you up a paw

Looking at you with helpful eyes

Understanding what they saw

Cats will sit and study you

Before they come around

Trying to figure out when’s best

To lift you when you’re down

Birds are quiet when you’re mad

Noisy when you’re not

They’ll only make a bit of noise

When the blues is all you’ve got

Animals know more than we think

They all have their moods too

Have you ever noticed when

They spend more time near you

Sometimes we take them all for granted

As well as some people too

Do you ever ask yourself

If you’d be there for you

Have you been able to find anyone for the dog?  If you have to take him to a shelter, let me know first —

I can’t keep him permanently, but could for a couple of months at least.  Let me know, thanks, —

Andrea

Hello,

Please be very careful. I have read some terrible

posts warning people about giving away animals. They

mention that evil people will take the animals and

then sell them for experiments, food, etc. Please take

care of the puppy and make sure he gets a good home. I

wish I could take it, but no pets allowed in my

apartment.

Thanks, John
